Consistency
One issue that I have with the user blog, is the Consistency of it's appearance. When you go to create a blog or leave a comment, you get the forum layout instead of the blog layout that can kind of be disorienting.

It is either that or make it so that style creators have to build the entire style instead of just the blog view page (which I know many would not like to do).
This way is 100x easier, plus it doesn't let a style author mess up and stop the user from being able to post/reply/etc.
