Registration problem after install

Postby GTPAUL » Wed Jul 04, 2007 1:44 am

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: dss_rand() in /homepages/29/d128212316/htdocs/phpbb/includes/usercp_register.php on line 1026

I get this now when I click "Register" after the install of ACP. Don't know what to do...

Thread moved.

Your getting that error because your forum is not 2.0.22, the file(s) are outdated.

My forum is .22 I just updated it before I installed ACP.

Your installation is up to date, no updates are available for your version of phpBB.

Your includes/functions.php file is outdated. It is older than phpBB 2.0.20 and does not have the dss_rand function which was added in 2.0.20.

Hey, Nathan, I have the same problem, but in my case it just doesn't say anything; gives me a blank page. I have 2.0.21. Thanks.
