Version query

What's the latest version of Anti-Spam ACP mod?

Two forums that I run that have it install and its been working just great for over six months, But now its telling me that its not the most up to date version. But try as I might I cant find a more up to date version listed on here to down load and install. According the update message below, I'm running 2.0.8 which appears to be the most up to date version available to down load.

If i've some how mist the location of a more up to date version, could some one point me in the right direction.

You are not running the latest stable version of Anti-Spam ACP. The latest stable version is available at Lithium Studios.

Yes, 2.0.8 is the latest. I am in the middle of changing hosts, it will take a few more days I think to have the domain transfered, once that is done you shouldn't get that error anymore. :)

Aha, thanks. I was about to ask the same question. Figured it was a server problem; nice to know that it will solve itself!

Temporary solution:
Find & change includes/functions_anti_spam_acp.php

Code: Select all

// if ($fsock = @fsockopen('www.lithiumstudios.org', 80, $errno, $errstr, 5))
if ($fsock = @fsockopen('www.exreaction.webfactional.com', 80, $errno, $errstr, 5))

// @fputs($fsock, "HOST: www.lithiumstudios.org\r\n");
@fputs($fsock, "HOST: www.exreaction.webfactional.com\r\n");

// $version = explode("\r", $version);
$version = explode("\r\n", $version);

The domain has been transfered, so the update check should now work. :)

I just updated from 2.0.22 to 2.0.23.(both german versions)....when posting as a guest "Bestätigungs-Code war nicht richtig" ( captcha code was wrong) appears, even there wasnt any visible code you could type..
..In the logfile you can see the failed posting....what might be wrong ?
Thx for any hints

Did you do the code changes or patch version?

If you just uploaded the changed files you will need to get backups or reinstall all mods to the files you uploaded.

yeah, shame on me....the last happened. I just uploaded the changed files, not keeping in mind, that those were already modified by your great spam defender.

So easyMOD doesnt have a DO IT AGAIN button, I have to look for changes on myself...

Please, where to find.?
Your mod is the only one I installed.
