Anti-Spam ACP has been updated to 1.0.5

This update is primarily to introduce Akismet integration to help combat spam posting.

Update: From personal experience on this board using the spam word filter and Akismet integration, I have to say this works wonderfully and has stopped almost every single instance of a spam post in the last two weeks since I've implemented it on the forum here. Akismet has stopped 362 posts that were not stopped by the common spam word list I have setup, and a total of almost 1,400 spam posts were blocked in the last 14 days (just try deleting all of that on your own phpBB3 board).

well, I installed tghis antispam, thanks, but it does not help at all, I selected in menu to block registration of spammers when ip is being remembered at least 2 times on site stop spam forum. and what, I can still register using ip in their black list that is mentioned 1000 times, not 2.

I thought, I installed something wrong, but not, I tried to register a your lithiumstudios forum, and the same, I can register using email like: cfdsbgsdfsfgafdsfgfgsdfgsdfgdsfgfhfdsgfdgsd@msn.pl

it like an example, and I can register, using the same 1000 blocked it, can you help me?

The IP Address is not checked against Stop Forum Spam. IP Addresses are pretty dynamic and I do not believe they should be used to detect spammers.

for example of vbulletin, now many sites with recent version have this against the ip listed on stop forum spam.

That message probably comes from some other modification.

I do not believe blocking IP addresses is good policy. I've been entirely blocked from at least one website before because someone apparently spammed from, or angered the administrators from, the IP address I was assigned to. IP Addresses are not reliable in any way to track people.

For translations, you should just copy the files over.

sorry for dusturb, but can you tell me in what file of antispam is forwarding to stopforum updates o email and username spammers?

probably I could do additional forwarding to ip list?

The file is antispam/asacp.php

If you look for $stop_forum_spam_urls, you'll see a section commented out on IP address checking, just uncomment it and it will check against their IP address blacklist.
