Antispam ACP MOD problem

Postby Spitt » Thu Jul 05, 2007 12:00 pm

I installed the antispam acp mod and it worked well, however I installed a mod after that, and it is now causing me problems. The text for the usercp info is blank. Meaning it is difficult to know where to put in the AIM/MSN/Website info.

link to feedback ratings - http://freenet-homepage.de/the-authenti ... ystyle.rar
thread for feedback ratings - http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 5#p3084855 (little or no support there)
image of the problem - http://snappytrades.com/images/ucp_error.jpg
location of the board (until they uninstall the feedback mod) - http://snappytrades.com

This is on phpbb 2.0.22
I do not use easy mod and am fairly good at modifying by hand. I double checked the changes and am at a loss to a fix. Possibly a problem on memberlist.php?

It looks to be a problem with your language/lang_english/lang_main.php file. It must be from an edit you made with the other mod.

thank you for the quick reply, however that cannot be it...
Code: Select all
## Files To Edit: viewonline.php
##                viewtopic.php
##        memberlist.php
##                admin/admin_forums.php
##                includes/constants.php
##                includes/functions.php
##                includes/page_header.php
##                includes/usercp_viewprofile.php
##                templates/subSilver/overall_header.tpl
##                templates/subSilver/profile_view_body.tpl
##                templates/subSilver/subSilver.cfg
##                templates/subSilver/viewtopic_body.tpl
##                templates/subSilver/admin/forum_edit_body.tpl
##        templates/subSilver/memberlist_body.tpl

Also the included files do not change that as well.

I have a copy of the mod changes here - http://rpg-exploiters.shoq.net/download ... atings.MOD

Thank you for looking at this.

Enable one of those fields for registration so I can take a look for myself quick.

Oh, I see what the problem is.

You didn't do the edits correctly in Saphic/profile_add_body.tpl

Look at your subSilver file:
http://snappytrades.com/templates/subSi ... d_body.tpl

And your Saphic one:
http://snappytrades.com/templates/Saphi ... d_body.tpl

The sections in subSilver have this code:
Code: Select all
<td class="row1"><span class="gen">{L_ICQ_NUMBER}:</span></td>

You were supposed to find
Code: Select all
{L_ICQ_NUMBER}:

And inline after add
Code: Select all
{ICQ_REQUIRED}

What you did was a replacement, so you have to go back and add in all of those sections that got replaced.

you are correct on the error on my part. The worst part about this is that I never even noticed that I have other sites that are also fuxxored up in the same way.
