ANTI-SPAM ACP not showing in .mod tab?

Postby sfinders » Mon Jun 27, 2011 11:49 am

Basically, I installed the MOD following your instructions, but under the .MODS tab your ANTI-SPAM ACP mod doesn't show up?

I have Precise Similar Topics installed, too - and that is being shown. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Aj

Got a bit of a problem with my MODs.

Basically, I tried to install Anti-Spam ACP (as above). When I just went to System > Administration Control Panel > MODs, it shows the module 'Anti-Spam' shows up twice. I removed all of the changes I made and STILL it shows it up twice! :o

When I try and delete it, it says: Unable to remove module, it has assigned children. Please remove or move all children before performing this action.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Run the antispam/remove_asacp.php file in your browser

Hi - I removed all of the files in the module from the site, and now the modules read ANTISPAM, but I still can't delete them. One has nothing in it, and the other has ASACP_SETTINGS twice, ASACP_SPAM_LOG twice, etc. I can't delete either of them.

When I go to the URL you sent before, it gives me the error:

General Error
Language file ../language/en/mods/asacp.php couldn't be opened.

I would say the best thing to do right now would be to go to the module management and remove them manually then.

You can't remove modules unless all the modules below them are deleted first, so you need to go into the modules as deep as you can for each one and delete all of the module children, after all of the children are deleted you can remove the parent module.

I don't seem to be able to delete any of the modules - even the ones that have nothing in them?

Try asking in the phpBB support forums for help removing the modules through module management, it may be some issue with that tool.
